Our Mission
The Community Mayors for Children with Special Needs is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating opportunities for mentally and physically challenged children to experience and enjoy numerous activities designed to accommodate their needs, stimulate their interests, and lift their spirits.
Operation Santa Claus
A COMMUNITY MAYORS SPECIAL EVENT
Our big, annual holiday event, where children are entertained and celebrate in the joy of the holiday season. Enjoy snacks and refreshments while children receive toys and visit with the legendary Macy’s Santa Claus.
Summer Camp Scholarships
DOMINICK DELLA ROCCA SCHOLARSHIP
Founded in honor of Dominick Della Rocca, this scholarship gives children with special needs a sense of independence and self-esteem by enabling them to attend a summer sleep-away camp on their own.
